Addicted?

I think I'm addicted. Last night I stayed up until midnight making raspberry-peach jam. This afternoon, I totally fell in love with the jam. For it's taste? Nope. I haven't even cracked open a bottle yet. I fell in love with it's COLOR! And, then what did I do? I took pictures of it! I took pictures of JAM! There must be some term to describe whatever I am. All I know is that I love my jam!

Salsbury Family

This wonderful family supported the YW in my ward by purchasing a bunch of stuff at the silent auction during our fundraiser back in April. One thing they bought was a photo shoot with me. I hope they will be pleased!

Yesterday I was privileged to take family portraits for the Goleman and Brown families. They were celebrating a new baby in the family...what a better time to have fun pictures taken?

California Vacation

I really have to get me a good point and shoot camera! I was on vacation in California for 10 days, we did a bunch of fun stuff and my kids were ever sooooo cute, but I only have 41 pictures to show for it! Blah!

Cuteness in the sink!

So, every time I take my kids' pictures I think, "Who needs Kiddie Kandids, anyway?!" Today was no exception. I finally got around to taking Julianna's 8 month pictures today. Yes, I know that she will be 9 months old in 9 days, but so what...she's still 8 months old until the 20th, so I am golden! :) Anyway, I have also decided that I don't need some grandiose background set up to get really sweet pictures of my kids. Today I just stripped her down to her diaper and put her in the bathroom sink. Ta-dah! Instant cuteness! It was a little challenging trying to take her pictures in the sink: what with older sibs trying to play with her or be in the pictures, and then she would wiggle around so that she was facing the wrong way, it was a bit of a challenge. I tend to shoot a ton of pictures of kids and hope for the best. I ended up getting some really cute pictures.
